A young female is running from the haunting White Wives,
but as she reaches her final destination, it turns out that nothing is what it seems.
About the film
The short animated film "Aurora" was part of the Ultrakort 2012 film programme,
in which Dutch animators were given the opportunity to make a 2-minute film in six months.
Every short film was screened before a blockbuster in all Pathé cinemas during the summer of 2012.
"Aurora" was screened before "Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter".
About the director
Dutch animator Aimée de Jongh (1988) graduated in Animation at the Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam
and at KASK in Ghent. She directed her first animated film at the age of 22, when she made her graduation film
"One Past Two". The film, about two scholars who are unaware of their death, won the WDKA Maaskantprijs 2013.
Aimée is also a comicbook artist and publishes the popular series "Snippers" daily in the Dutch newspaper Metro.
